Behold the adorableness! Not much is cuter than a kitty in a box, except maybe two kitties in a box.

This is my friend Jaron's kitten, Lynx. At least I think it is Lynx. It could be Nimra, but until he corrects me I am sticking with my first guess. :)

12/16/2005 - Another update (yes, I know it's been too long), and this one includes all the submissions I have received since the last update. See page nine of the archive for the latest in kitteny goodness.

Note to Amy regarding her Fiona: Fiona was a huge contender for my featured fur face, but I had promised my friend Jaron one of his kitties would be last month's, and then I didn't update.

Since it is due to my laziness that she wasn't picked, I offer you all Fiona. All together now, awwwwwwwwww. Feel free to explode from cuteness, I did.

As an aside, a few people have asked me what I use to make my thumbnails. I make them myself rather than allow a program generate them. I do this because I like the variation, and I prefer to keep the full kittenlicious nature of the photo a little surprise. Sure it means pouring over hundreds of images of kittens in order to find the way to hide cuteness, or to only allow you an inkling of what is to come, but somehow I wade through them all. After all, it's a labor of love, and there is not mountain I would not climb for you, my fellow kitten lovers...it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. ;)

9/12/2005 - I am in the process of making the kitten archive into a full-fledged site of its own. Some time ago, I began uploading kitten images for a friend so he could have his "kitten of the day." After collecting quite a few images, I began to format some pages in a random way so friends could meander through them. I called it my little kitty zen garden, as it is impossible to stay stressed while looking at photos of incredibly cute kittens.

Recently I noticed that many more people besides my friends have been wandering through the kitty garden. This makes me happy, and I hope it makes you happy, too. :) Enjoy-- Lily

Now for other legalese type stuff. Most of the images on display here were found at various places on the internet. When I see a cute kitten I generally say, "Oooo cute kitty!" then click and save it, and I very rarely remember where I got it. If you see a photo of your cat and do not want it here, just let me know. I will gladly remove it. Likewise, if it is your photo and you want credit for the photo, I will be glad to give it to you.

Additionally, if you have a photo you would like displayed here, please let me know. I have no set update schedule, but I will gladly upload any photo that fits the criteria, i.e. cute and fuzzy....and feline. I'm not speciesist; other animals are just as cute...mostly, but this is a kitten archive.
